In the book The Winter of Red Snow the main character had to do tons of extra chores because George Washinton marched his troops into Valley Forge. She had to wash clothes untill her hands were raw and she made shirts. Her friend shaved her head for 6 shillings and a soldier stole the money. Then a boy ran up to her and pulled off her bonnet right in front of her parents. The punishment was to not wear a bonnet where ever she goes. That was really bad. I thought that working for the president could be bad because of all that work.The good thing about you working for the president is tha ou get good money did the person in the story get alot of money.Did the women liked what she did or not because I would did she get breaks at all.And would you work for the president if you could yes or no?
